Hello! I’m Katie.

I am a product designer with over 10 years experience within the design industry.

I love puzzles and working through challenging design problems. Utilising the double diamond user-centred design process, I use data and research as puzzle pieces to build a solution that meet real user needs and also important business requirements.

Being a product designer with a specialism in UX, it give me an opportunity to make a difference in users lives. I take pride in building journeys that feel intuitive, accessible and engaging for users.

Personal

The key to being a great designer is balance.

Outside of work I spend time watching different types of sports. I am a lifelong Rugby League supporter and love to watch the Formula 1. I tried my hand at golf but decided it was just getting in the way of a nice walk.

I have always loved hiking and have started to make more regular trips up to the Lake District to check off the Wainwright peaks. My biggest achievement is climbing Ben Nevis and I plan to do it again.

I enjoy playing video games (Switch, PS5 & PC), reading books and binge watching TV in phases.

Board games can get competitive and puzzles are there to be solved. Current favourite are Surugu puzzles but I can always fall back on a good Sudoku.
